A Starry Christmas
Belladonna was going all out this year. She wanted to get something super special for her brother- something that would make him finally give her some attention. She’d gotten a water berry for Halloween last year and was finally ready to try out its powers. She conjured forth water (outside, of course) and then held it in tiny shapes just long enough for it to freeze. Using some crystals she’d bought, Belladonna slowly crafted a star. It would be big and bright and beautiful. Billy was scholarly, right? He liked stars and astronomy, right? Belladonna had heard peripherally somewhere that this year there’d be a Jerusalem Star (whatever that meant), where Jupiter and Saturn (she thought; Belladonna didn’t care enough to be sure) overlapped in the sky to be brighter than the moon. That’s what she wanted her star to look like. When Billy opened it, he’d be so impressed. He would want to hang out with her more then. Belladonna put the last sparkles around the crystals and
